Droughmaster hybrid has long, round body, short hair, thin, smooth, thin skin, good elasticity. Hair color is from light yellow to dark red. Most of the cattle are not horn, small back, legs and strong, strong.

Droughmaster hybrids have relatively large weights. Newborn calf weight 22 – 23 kg. The calf weight of 6 months reached 115 – 125 kg, at 12 months of age 180 – 260 kg. The adult bull size is 520 – 560 kg, the adult cow is 430 – 480 kg. Carcass yield was 52-58%.
